PREP Workshops

The public workshops will be offered again starting in March 2012.

Disaster Resistant Community (DRC) is offering a program for personal and family preparedness. This program is being done in partnership with United Neighborhoods of Evansville.

PREP - Personal Response and Emergency Preparedness is a 3 hour interactive, hands-on workshop. This workshop will get you started on your preparedness journey by informing you of many large and small types of disasters, helping you make a plan, showing you different types of emergency kits, explaining how to use a fire extinguisher, and dealing with life safety issues which follow an event.

The workshop is FREE and includes an easy to use workbook to help you along your journey to becoming more informed and better prepared.
